Pricing and Policies:

Payment due in full on FIRST DAY of service and can be a cash, PayPal, Venmo, or check (payable to Nancy Dietrich). No checks after 12/31/2023. PLEASE be courteous if you need to cancel at the last minute. No official fee but even a bit helps as I will not have time to book another guest.

Prices listed below are estimates and may vary. Prices may vary between Verona and Mt. Horeb location. Some d/o or p/u fees may be waived if you book and pay ahead for a full month of daycare. Please contact for precise quote.

Doggy Daycare

10am-2pm slot or 2-4 hours: $25 if you drop-off and pick-up at my home. For each trip I take to pick-up or drop-off your dog, please add $5. It’s more about the extra time than the gas.

8am-6pm slot or 6-8 hours: $35 Same fees with re: drop-off or pick-up ($5/ea)

8am-8pm slot or 10-12 hours: $45 Same $5 fee if I drop-off or pick-up needed. NOTE this is the same price for overnight, as I try to keep my “Official Hours” as 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. No extra charge next day if picked up by 10am.

Overnight Sitting in My Home Base Price $45/night (Puppies under 9 months add $10/night)

Ideal boarding situation for small, senior dogs or little ones used to constant companionship. You dog is ideally 40 pounds or less, as my space is small. I try to limit the number of guests to four so everyone gets all the attention he/she needs. Every dog is charged the current rate(s) with no discounts for pets from the same household. Exercise time in fenced backyard included. Visit to local dog park also included (park tag required, prior experience preferred but not required).

Limited availability, the sooner you call, the more likely you are to get a reservation. For puppies under 1 year, please add $10/day for extra cleanup and basic training work.

Essentially 18-24 hour care in my home. If your dog checks in Friday midday/afternoon and stays until Sunday morning, for example, the fee is $90. If he/she stays an extra day (5 hours or more) there is a charge for daycare that day. So checking in Friday morning and checking out Sunday after 4-ish would be $125.

Unlike traditional boarding facilities, your dog is free to roam my house (and fenced yard) while I am here supervising–which is essentially all the time! Cuddle time is no extra charge. Text/email updates with photos are no extra charge. Treats are no extra charge. The only time I leave the house when I am watching a dog(s) is to complete a short dog or cat visit. While I do have a handful of crates open about the house, they are used primarily for feeding time to keep guests safely separated. The kennels are always open as comfy bed or safe place for an overwhelmed guest. I also utilize them as necessary for short time outs, and for brief crate training exercises.

Your dog sleeps with me in the living room where we share an over-sized sofa. I have multiple soft beds available as well: a place for everyone! If you normally kennel your dog while you sleep, I can do that as well.

DPC services Verona, Fitchburg, West Madison, and Mt. Horeb. Greater distances may require additional fees if I am asked to arrange pick-up and/or drop-off ($5 per trip under 10 mi). Most clients drop off and pick up directly at my home.

DAY VISITS FOR CATS OR DOGS (or other)

DAY VISITS can be scheduled anytime between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. I am open 7 days a week, 365 days a year with very limited exceptions.

I will visit your home (within 10 miles of my address) for day breaks for dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, reptiles or fish (no large birds, please) but I am no longer able to provide overnight service in the owner’s home, only mine.

Day Visit – 30 Minutes $25

20-30 min visit for your cat(s) which includes feeding, medication, and waste clean-up. Clean litter box(es).
